Justice Served

It is most wonderful news that the 9th Circuit upheld Judge Navarro's decision to dismiss the last 2 trials as mistrials with prejudice today August 6. I'm am also most pleased that the court also as it seems, will set Todd Engel free as well, due to Judge Navarro's not allowing him to represent himself at his trial. From what Sue read me it sounded as if the 9th Circuit was none to happy with the prosecution and their flagrant concealing of Brady evidence.

My appeal is to be heard in September at some point and I pray that justice is served in the 9th Circuit's decision at that time too. I've been imprisoned for about 4 1/2 years and I can't say that it has been a loss as I have been so very blessed to witness to so many men in that time. I pray that our Father is pleased with how I have carried myself and I'm quite sure He is with how Sue has behaved. I do surely want to go home but I really want to be exonerated as I know I did not break any laws in Nevada except when I accepted the plea agreement. That is why I pressed the court on that very issue as to whether I would be committing perjury. Certainly Judge Navarro's answer to that question was truly a sad day for justice. We can continue praying for my release and then I can get to thanking so many of you for your faithfulness and efforts. If the court decides to leave me in prison then I only have about another 21 months left. I've seen so much happen since my imprisonment, miracles, healings, loss of life, injustice and justice and I know I have much to do when released.

Semper Fi, (another "ambassador in chains") Jerry
