NEA Ad in NH
I heard the most surprising ad on the radio; this time paid for by the NEA (National Education Association) of New Hampshire. In the ad the NEA decried the NH Senate was about to increase New Hampshire's citizens property taxes if they pass a bill dealing with school vouchers. This is the same group of teachers and their union that has leveled tax increases on NH taxpayers nearly every year for school budgets regardless whether the school, administration or teachers are in fact providing a sound education at least in math, English and the sciences. Now these same groups led by the NEA are suddenly concerned about a tax increase? How many of these educators nationwide that are NEA members who haven't gone to work in over a year have, out of concern for the taxpayers, refused their taxpayer funded salaries? This is the height of hypocrisy and if you haven't attended your local school districts budget proposal where the public can attend, you should do so and remind them of their concern for the tax burden put upon the shoulders of the citizenry.
